LUMAX LX-3505-10 Grease Fitting Drive Type Straight 0.50 Long (Pack of 10)

For a 3/16" diameter hole, straight, with a 0.50" case hardened head for added durability and protection against wear from constant use. The ball check in the head prevents dirt and grit from entering the fitting, while the heavier wall thickness provides extra strength. Drive fittings are designed to avoid tapping costs in a variety of applications. The circumferentially serrated shank ensures a grease-tight seal when installed, making it easier to replace damaged fittings in old or oversized holes. These fittings are recommended for low to medium pressure applications, and must be used in situations where high lubricant back pressures can occur.

It is important to use hole sizes and shank dimensions as a reference only, and to conduct test applications using the type of material the fitting will be installed into, such as aluminum, brass, bronze, cast iron, copper, or steel. Production tolerances of hole size should be considered during testing. The LX-1430 Drive Fitting Tool is recommended for installation of these fittings.
